Leighton Meester to Release Solo Album

The star of the hit television show Gossip Girl, Leighton Meester, is about the release a solo album. Her debut album will drop on Universal Republic Record which has influences from M.I.A. to Gwen Stefani. The 23-year-old actress says that she has had a "passion for music for as long as I can remember."
