Alec Baldwin Says He's Quitting Acting

Alec Baldwin just revealed in Men's Journal that he is quitting acting and considers his film career a complete failure.

Baldwin said,  "I don't have any interest in acting anymore. I consider my entire movie career a complete failure. The goal of movie-making is to star in a film where your performance drives the film, and the film is either a soaring critical or commercial success, and I never had that. Movies are a part of my past. It's been 30 years. I'm not young, but I have time to do something else." However, Baldwin has received acclaim for his role in such movies as The Cooler, The Departed, The Aviator, State and Main and for his TV role in 30 Rock.

Baldwin says he no longer loves his job so he is calling it quits. Readers, do you think Baldwin should reconsider?

Quick Fact
It seems that the machines are winning in this digital age where voice-to-text is so prevalent. Many have abandoned the professional services of transcribers because they think that Androids and iPhones do much better jobs at documenting conversations. We are proud to say that the masses are wrong. A recent experiment placed man against machine in the battle for the accuracy and man, professional transcribers that is, defeated the competition. Whereas the machine mistook the word "ago" for "I go," professional transcribers had a knack for hearing and correctly interpreted the text. The playing field between man and technology is a bit more leveled.
