Brittany Murphy Confirmed Dead

Brittany Murphy has died at the age of 32. The actress died at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after her mother found her unconscious in the shower. Her mother called 911 and when the paramedics arrived she was not breathing and they ruled it cardiac arrest. She was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead when they arrived.  The LA County Coroner's is picking up Murphy's body from Cedars today to launch a death investigation.

Murphy was married to Simon Monjack and starred in the the hit movies Clueless, 8 Mile and Don't Say a Word. RIP Brittany Murphy.
