Jersey Shore's Snooki Charged In Drunk Driving Death

Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi of The Jersey Shore reality show was charged with selling liquor to minors during a party at her house that resulted in a drunk diving death. RadarOnline reports that Snooki was charged in connection with the 2004 death of Michael Truncali who flipped his Mazda on Thanksgiving morning in Marlboro, NJ. Tuncali had been drinking heavily at Snooki's house and had a blood alcohol level of .18, which is more than twice the legal limit. Snooki was charged with Prohibited Sale of Alcoholic Beverages because she charged the partygoers a fee to drink.  Snooki's mom was also home at the time of the party but apparently let her daughter take the charges and didn't take any of the responsibility.

Snooki's scandalous past didn't prevent MTV from allowing her to star in their reality show and hasn't stopped them from casting her in season 2 of The Jersey Shore.
