Ann Curry Announces She's Leaving Today

Ann Curry just announced that she's leaving the Today Show!

The veteran anchor just announced that she is leaving Today and taking on a new challenge at NBC News. In an emotional few minutes, Curry said, "Today is going to be my last morning as a regular co-host of TODAY. I will still be a part of the TODAY show family, but I'm going to have a new title and a new role." Curry will be a reporter for NBC News and still appear on Today bit not as the everyday anchor. Word id that she was fired and Savannah uthrie will take on her role as co-anchor with Matt Lauer.
