Demi Lovato Fights Bullying

Demi Lovato fights bullying!

The new X-Factor judge is currently trying something new and shaking it up when it comes to fighting bullying. She recently attended the "Drama Free School Year" Anti-Bullying Assembly at The Young Women’s Leadership School in New York City to express her concern for the issue. She said, "I had a really tough time when I was in middle school. People would write 'hate petitions' about me and send them around to be signed. They'd have CD-bashing parties of my demos. They'd come to my house, stand across the street and yell things. It was a very emotional time for me, and all I wanted to do was get away."

She really showed that she is taking a personal approach to fighting bullying in schools and isn't afraid to talk about her own issues. This is the same approach that Tic Tac's new "Shake it Up" campaign takes by pushing individuals to explore new and exciting ways of doing things. Check out their new Tic Tac®Viewr mobile application to help you make the mundane world new and exciting!

Quick Fact
It seems that the machines are winning in this digital age where voice-to-text is so prevalent. Many have abandoned the professional services of transcribers because they think that Androids and iPhones do much better jobs at documenting conversations. We are proud to say that the masses are wrong. A recent experiment placed man against machine in the battle for the accuracy and man, professional transcribers that is, defeated the competition. Whereas the machine mistook the word "ago" for "I go," professional transcribers had a knack for hearing and correctly interpreted the text. The playing field between man and technology is a bit more leveled.
