Ellen DeGeneres has just quit American Idol!

The TV host has ditched Idol less than a year after replacing Paula Abdul. She said,  “A couple months ago, I let FOX and the American Idol producers know that this didn’t feel like the right fit for me. I told them I wouldn’t leave them in a bind and that I would hold off on doing anything until they were able to figure out where they wanted to take the panel next. It was a difficult decision to make, but my work schedule became more than I bargained for.”

Bret Michaels To Replace Simon Cowell On American Idol

Bret Michaels might be replacing Simon Cowell on America Idol! The rocker returned to the stage in Biloxi, MS after several health issues including a brain hemorrhage and revealed this little tidbit. He said "I can't say this is true yet, cause I don't know. Next year they asked me to possibly be the judge on American Idol." A source also revealed that Bret is "in the running to replace Simon" and a FOX rep said that they are not commenting on Simon's replacement but it is rumored to be down to 10 finalists.

Adam Lambert's American Idol Finale Performance Canceled

Adam Lambert's American Idol finale performance was canceled last night! It's being reporting that Lambert was scheduled to perform on the big finale where Lee DeWyze was crowned winner but he was a no show! Apparently, Lambert didn't show up for rehearsals and the finale leading producers to believe he was sick or canceling all together. However, the real reason seems to be that Lambert canceled because he didn't want to tone down is sexually explicit performance to fit in with there standards.

Lee DeWyze Wins American Idol!

Lee DeWyze just won American Idol! The singer beat out favorite Cyrstal Bowersox to take home the title of American Idol 2010. Lee looking pretty shocked as Ryan Seacrest read his name as the winner but got it together to sing his first song as American Idol winner.
