Dannii Minogue to Replace Paula Abdul on American Idol

Dannii Minogue to Replace Paula Abdul on American Idol_1 Dannii Minogue to Replace Paula Abdul on American Idol_2

Rumors is that Dannii Minogue will replace Paula Abdul as a judge on the hit Fox show American Idol. Rumors started to swirl after Paula demanded $20 million to remain as judge of Idol.

Minogue is a judge on Simon Cowell's X Factor in Britain and would be a perfect fit for Idol. Either way, Paula's demand for $20 million is getting a lot of publicity for the show so I'm sure Idol would welcome her back if she decides to take less money.

Comment below! Do you think Paula will be back or will Dannii replace her?

Can anyone really replace Paula? College Candy contemplated...

Paula Abdul Demands $20 Million For American Idol

Paula Abdul Demands $20 Million For American Idol

Its that time of year again where we see what famous stars will come back as judges or panelists for your favorite reality shows! Word on the street is that Paula Abdul is causing a bit of trouble for Fox execs and apparently demanding the big bucks to stay on the judging panel for their hit show American Idol.

Apparently Abdul is asking for $20 million to stay on and resume her place on the series for the 2010 season. The 47 year old would sit alongside Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara Dioguardi, who seem to have already signed on. Discussions came to a halt for Abdul when her $20 million demand came into play, apparently its $10 million more then the network is willing to offer her.

Abdul's manager David Sonenberg even made the statement, "Very sadly, it does not appear that she's going to be back on Idol."

Would you be sad if Abdul was out? Or would you still watch the show??

Quick Fact
It seems that the machines are winning in this digital age where voice-to-text is so prevalent. Many have abandoned the professional services of transcribers because they think that Androids and iPhones do much better jobs at documenting conversations. We are proud to say that the masses are wrong. A recent experiment placed man against machine in the battle for the accuracy and man, professional transcribers that is, defeated the competition. Whereas the machine mistook the word "ago" for "I go," professional transcribers had a knack for hearing and correctly interpreted the text. The playing field between man and technology is a bit more leveled.
