Brittany Murphy's Husband Simon Monjack Found Dead

Brittany Murphy's Husband Simon Monjack Found Dead

Brittany Murphy's husband Simon Monjack has just been found dead! It's being reported that Monjack was found dead at his Los Angeles home late Sunday night just five months after his wife Brittany Murphy died.

Emergency workers were rushed to Monjack's Hollywood Hills home to find the screenwriter dead from natural causes. He was found by Brittany's mother in the same house that she died in who called 911 for help. Sgt. Alex Ortiz told the press, "We concluded there no signs of foul play or any criminal activity involved." He added that the Los Angeles Coroner's Office was taking over the investigation because there seemed to be no criminal activity.

This is pretty shocking news considering his wife, Brittany Murphy, died in a similar fashion in the same house just five months ago. Readers, do you think this is just a coincidence or is something else going on?

The Brittany Murphy Foundation Is A Scam

The Brittany Murphy Foundation Is A Scam

It's being reported that the charity that Simon Monjack set up for his wife, The Brittany Murphy Foundation, is a scam. Monjack has begun refunding donations made following revelations that he did not register the foundation as a charity with the California Secretary of State's office and the IRS. Monjack published the following on the foundations site:

"We began the Brittany Murphy Foundation to honor Brittany's wishes and to give her family, friends, and fans a way of keeping her legacy alive. In an effort to get the foundation off the ground quickly, we established it as a private foundation with plans to apply for nonprofit status down the road. However, after some thought, we have decided instead to wait until we have our nonprofit status approved before proceeding to ensure that we can truly honor Brittany's charitable desires. Any donations made up until this point will be returned until we have all our paperwork solidified. We would like to thank the thousands of people who have reached out with kind words of love and support; you have made the hardest journey a little bit easier."

Comment below! Do you think Monjack was trying to scam people out of money or was it just an oversight?

Quick Fact
It seems that the machines are winning in this digital age where voice-to-text is so prevalent. Many have abandoned the professional services of transcribers because they think that Androids and iPhones do much better jobs at documenting conversations. We are proud to say that the masses are wrong. A recent experiment placed man against machine in the battle for the accuracy and man, professional transcribers that is, defeated the competition. Whereas the machine mistook the word "ago" for "I go," professional transcribers had a knack for hearing and correctly interpreted the text. The playing field between man and technology is a bit more leveled.
