American Idol Winner David Cook Announces Brother's Death
American Idol winner David Cook just announced that this brother Adam died on Saturday during an emotional speech at the 12th Annual Race for Hope charity event in Washington D.C.
"On a serious note, like everybody here I'm affected by this disease," Cook said. "I actually lost my brother yesterday to a brain tumor."
His brother, Adam, 36, was struggling with brain cancer for more than 10 years. Watch video of his announcement below.
