Fantasia Barrino was just hospitalized after a drug overdose!

WCNC reports that the former American Idol winner was rushed to a North Carolina hospital last night where she was treated for a "medication overdose." It was revealed that Barrino was taken to Carolinas Medical Center-Pineville around 8:55 PM after the drug overdoes. It hasn't been revealed whether it was accidental or intentional but Barrino has been involved some recent drama. Last week she was accused of having an affair with a married man, making a sex tape and ultimately breaking up a marriage.

Fantasia Barrino is involved in a sex tape scandal!

The former American Idol winner apparently had an affair with a married man and created a sex tape with this man. A North Carolina woman named Paula Cook filed for child support against her estranged husband Antwaun Cook last week and said he and Barrino had an affair. She claims that Barrino met Cook at a T-Mobile store and and had a "covert adulterous affair." Paula added, "Throughout the course of their adulterous affair ... Defendant/Husband and Ms. Barrino have at times recorded their illicit activity."

Barrino and her reps have denied the affair and sex tape.
