Heather Locklear Arrested for Hit-and-Run

Heather Locklear Arrested for Hit-and-Run

Heather Locklear was arrested for hit-and-run over the weekend. TMZ reports that Locklear was involved in a crash around 4 AM near North Ranch Country Club in Westlake Village, CA.

Apparently, a person heard the crash and called the Police a few hours later. The Police then investigated and found a no parking sign knocked over and signs that a car went up the curb to hit the sign. They then determined that it was Locklear's black BMW that was involved in the crash. She lives very close by so they went to her home and found the damaged BMW in her driveway and arrested her on the spot. She was ticketed with a misdemeanor traffic ticket and let go. No word yet if Locklear was drinking during the time of the crash but that wouldn't be surprising considering her past DUI arrest and other issues of late.

Readers, do you think Locklear's 4 AM crash involved alcohol?

Quick Fact
It seems that the machines are winning in this digital age where voice-to-text is so prevalent. Many have abandoned the professional services of transcribers because they think that Androids and iPhones do much better jobs at documenting conversations. We are proud to say that the masses are wrong. A recent experiment placed man against machine in the battle for the accuracy and man, professional transcribers that is, defeated the competition. Whereas the machine mistook the word "ago" for "I go," professional transcribers had a knack for hearing and correctly interpreted the text. The playing field between man and technology is a bit more leveled.
