Jonathan Rhys Meyers Banned From Airport After Racial Slur

Jonathan Rhys Meyers Banned From Airport After Racial Slur

Jonathan Rhys Meyers was just banned from flying United Airlines because of a drunken, racial tantrum. It's being reported that Meyers was drinking Vodka around 7 am and got out of control before boarding his flight to Los Angeles. Airline workers stopped Meyers from getting on the plane which caused him to go on a rampage and use several racial slurs including the 'N' word.

The Tudors actor used the racial term as he was being told they would not let him on the plane.

Jonathan Rhys Meyers in Airport Brawl

Jonathanrhysmeyersinairportbrawl

Tudors star Jonathan Rhys Meyers was just involved in an Airport brawl that has sent him to jail! He allegedly assaulted an airport lounge employee after having a few too many drinks.

According to People, Meyers, 31, was placed in custody for several hours for having a skirmish with bar employees and allegedly punching one at the Charles De Gaulle airport in Paris. The incident began when a bartender at the café area "Le Quotidien" refused to serve the actor, who appeared drunk. A shouting match developed between Rhys Meyers and the bar manager. Then when another bar employee tried to separate the pair, Rhys Meyers swung and punched the intervening waiter.

Readers, do you think Meyers deserved to be detained by the police?

Quick Fact
It seems that the machines are winning in this digital age where voice-to-text is so prevalent. Many have abandoned the professional services of transcribers because they think that Androids and iPhones do much better jobs at documenting conversations. We are proud to say that the masses are wrong. A recent experiment placed man against machine in the battle for the accuracy and man, professional transcribers that is, defeated the competition. Whereas the machine mistook the word "ago" for "I go," professional transcribers had a knack for hearing and correctly interpreted the text. The playing field between man and technology is a bit more leveled.
