Oprah Winfrey just revealed a big family secret!

The talk show host just revealed a huge family secret to her audience today. She revealed that she has a half-sister named Patricia. She said that her mother, Vernita Lee, gave Patricia up for adoption but kept her a secret from from Oprah since she was nine years old. Patricia has said she first started to think that Oprah might be her sister when she saw an interview with Vernita Lee. The interview and dates Vernita Lee mention were very familiar and pushed her to track down Oprah's niece with a DNA test that revealed they were related. Once Oprah found about this she confronted her mother who in turn confirmed Oprah had a secret sister.

Oprah Winfrey's Hidden Life Revealed

Oprah Winfrey's hidden life has just been revealed in Kitty Kelley's new unauthorized biography called Oprah. The NY Post reports that the book goes into to details about Oprah and her billion-dollar empire claiming that is a big phony. A few of the highlights include:

* Winfrey made up stories that she was sexually abused as a child and exaggerated the poverty she grew up in.

* She paid off people to hide her lesbian affairs and only dating Stedman Graham to hide her real sexuality.

* She bought romantic gifts for ABC's Diane Sawyer including a diamond toe ring.

* She sold her body into prostitution when she was a teen.

* She doesn't know her biological father.

All of these claims are coming from an infamous biographer named Kitty Kelley and have not been confirmed but they are are truly shocking if true. Do you think this new book and explosive details about Oprah's life will hurt her reputation?

Oprah's Tearful Farewell Announcement

Oprah Winfrey officially announced the end of her show on a live episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show today.

Oprah announced that her show will end Sept. 9, 2011, after 25 years on the air. “I love this show. This show has been my life. And I love it enough to know when it’s time to say good-bye. Twenty-five years feels right in my bones and it feels right in my spirit. It’s the perfect number — the exact right time.”  She added  “Over this holiday break, my team and I will be brainstorming new ways that we can entertain you, and inform you and uplift you when we return here in January. And then season 25 — we are going to knock your socks off.  So the countdown to the end of The Oprah Winfrey Show starts now and until that day in 2011 when it ends, I intend to soak up every meaningful, joy-filled moment with you."

She did not say what the future hold for her but hoped her audience would continue to watch over the next 18 months.  Share your thoughts! Are you upset Oprah is ending her show?

Sarah Palin Opens Up During Oprah Interview

Sarah Palin has finally opened up about her life in an new interview with Oprah that aired today.

Palin did the interview to promote her soon to be released book called Going Rogue and to address some of the issue within her life. She talked about the John McCain campaign, the Katie Couric interview, soon to be Playgirl model Levi Johnston and whether she will run for president in 2012.

Mike Tyson Sheds Tears on Oprah

Mike Tyson broke down in tears in a new interview with Oprah.

The former heavyweight boxer talked about his career, troubled past and the death of his 4-year-old daughter Exodus last May. He said that he was enraged when he found out his daughter choked in treadmill accident at her mother’s home. He said he doesn't want to know what went wrong. “If I know, then there might be a blame for it. And if there’s somebody to blame for it, there will be a problem.”
