Simon Cowell just cleaned house at the X-Factor!

Cowell decided to fire all the judges on the x-Factor including Paula Abdul, Steve Jones and Nicole Scherzinger.He previously said that he was dying to get Paula back after American Idol saying, "You do develop friendships with the people you work with and Paula, in particular, is a very close friend and I expect to be working with her on another project in the near future." However, it turns out that he now wants to replace her with Mariah Carey.

Rumors of a possible engagement have been brewing for a few weeks now and Hussainy has finally confirmed the news. She also revealed that the wedding will actually be pretty soon!

It's being reported that Simon Cowell has offered Robert Pattinson a record deal!

The American Idol judge knows that Rob dabbles in music and wants him to record a full album. However, Rob hasn't accepted the deal because he's not sure he wants to be a pop star. A source said, "Robert is reluctant to be turned into a pop star—and takes his music very seriously. He is a bit wary of signing up with Cowell who is, of course, associated with (British talent show) X Factor and pop." We really doubt that Cowell would want to turn him into an Adam Lambert like pop star. As long as he stays true to his music this might work out.

Simon Cowell is leaving American Idol!

During a press conference in Pasadena, California, Cowell officially announced that he is leaving America Idol to bring the hit British show X Factor to America. “I’m doing X Factor in America because I believe I can find someone incredibly talented through this process. This country, thank God, has got thousands and thousands of people still waiting to be discovered. I want to find a star at the end, I genuinely do.” This along with the news that Paula Abdul will be joining Cowell as a judge on X Factor seem to point to the end of American Idol.
